DBD Build Tracker does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data whatsoever. The extension has no servers, no backend, and no analytics.

Where is my data stored?

All data you enter — builds, match history, killer notes, prestige levels, and settings — is stored exclusively using your browser's built-in storage APIs:

Neither storage method sends data to any third party controlled by DBD Build Tracker.

Does the extension access any websites or external services?

No. DBD Build Tracker does not make any network requests. It does not access any websites, APIs, or external servers. It functions entirely offline once installed.

Does the extension read my browsing activity?

No. The extension only activates when you click the extension icon to open the popup. It does not read, monitor, or interact with any web pages you visit.

Permissions explained

The extension requests only one permission:

No other permissions are requested or used.

Share codes

The share code feature encodes your build data as a text string entirely within your browser. No data is sent to any server. Sharing a code with another person is entirely voluntary and done manually by you (e.g. copy-pasting into Discord or a message).

Children's privacy

DBD Build Tracker does not collect any data from any users, including children. The extension contains no user accounts, registration, or data submission of any kind.
